‘Picture (Im)perfect’ Review of JOBS

Steve Jobs was one of the most influential people on the planet. He irrevocably altered our lives. He had everything you need for a great drama. He was brilliant, petty and manipulative.

Then how come the life of such an interesting man creates such a bland film. Yeah, you herd me right. Jobs is one of the most boring film I’ve ever seen in my entire life. It has comatose narrative filled with clunky dialogues that traces Jobs’ journey from his start-up days in a garage to Apple becoming the most valuable company in the world.

Ashton Kutcher is definitely earnest. He glued me throughout this snore kind of film. The screenplay gets to your nerve very quickly. It is limp and definitely trashy. Well I have three words to describe JOBS ; unimaginative, predictable, and boring.

Well the good news is that another Steve Jobs Biopic is under production and it’s screenplay has been penned by Aaron Sorkin, who won an Oscar for writing The Social Network. So I recommend you to wait for that film to come and just skip this one ; cause this one is a waste of time. I’m going with two stars.
