‘Fast & Furious’ Review of RUSH

Rating :

Ron Howard’s new film based on the true life story of the legendary rivalry between Formula One drivers Niki Lauda and James Hunt in the 1970s.

Well I’m a huge fan of racing. Hit me with any kind of racing film and I will come out laughing. But not all racing films are like this one. Here I got emotional watching the relation of two men, which is very twisty and dramatic.

You can strictly know this that Rush isn’t really about the sport nor the thrill of it, whereas it’s about the will and passion of the game. Which can guide a man to anywhere.

Hunt played by Chris Hemsworth(Thor) , describes his racing car as a little coffin. Each time, Hunt and Lauda, played by Daniel Brühl, step into these cars, they know that they are dancing with death. But this is what they were born to do. Only their methods are different – Hunt is a magnificent playboy, who lives life king-size. Lauda is an ascetic who relentlessly chases perfection. Each one propels the other to do better.

They are two different characters but at heart they are both the same. They ave the same will , the same determination and the same passion but in a different angle.

Cinematography by Anthony Dod Mantle is another amazing thing in this film.

This film is fast & furious , but only this time it’s not only about the action packed cool cars but also about the hearts of the men driving them. You just can’t afford to miss this one. I’m going with four stars.
